The SampleStrategy is a trading strategy that uses various technical indicators to make buy and sell decisions. In the populate_indicators method, the strategy adds several technical indicators to the input DataFrame. These indicators include:
ADX (Average Directional Index)
RSI (Relative Strength Index)
Stochastic Fast %D and %K
MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) and its components (macd, macdsignal, macdhist)
MFI (Money Flow Index)
Bollinger Bands (bb_lowerband, bb_middleband, bb_upperband) and their derived metrics (bb_percent, bb_width)
SAR (Stop and Reverse)
TEMA (Triple Exponential Moving Average)
Hilbert Transform - Sine Wave and its lead sine component
The populate_buy_trend method populates the buy signal in the DataFrame based on specific conditions.
The buy signal is set to 1 when the following conditions are met: RSI crosses above 30 TEMA is below the Bollinger Bands middle line TEMA is rising Volume is greater than 0 The populate_sell_trend method populates the sell signal in the DataFrame based on specific conditions.
The sell signal is set to 1 when the following conditions are met: RSI crosses above 70 TEMA is above the Bollinger Bands middle line TEMA is falling Volume is greater than 0 Overall, the SampleStrategy combines multiple indicators to generate buy and sell signals based on the defined conditions.
The buy signal is set to 1 when the following conditions are met: RSI crosses above 30 TEMA is below the Bollinger Bands middle line TEMA is rising Volume is greater than 0 The populate_sell_trend method populates the sell signal in the DataFrame based on specific conditions.
