The SmoothScalp strategy is designed to generate a large number of potential buy signals and make small profits on each trade. It is recommended to have at least 60 parallel trades at any given time to cover unavoidable losses. The strategy uses the following indicators:
Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of high, close, and low prices with a time period of 5.
Stochastic Fast indicator with parameters (5.0, 3.0, 0.0, 3.0, 0.0), capturing the fast %K and %D values.
Average Directional Index (ADX) indicator.
Commodity Channel Index (CCI) with a time period of 20. Relative Strength Index (RSI) with a time period of 14. Money Flow Index (MFI). Additional indicators used for graphing purposes:
Bollinger Bands with a window of 20 and 2 standard deviations. Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) with default parameters. The buy signals are generated when the following conditions are met:
The opening price is below the EMA low. The ADX value is above 30. The MFI value is below 30. The fast %K and %D values are both below 30 and have crossed above. The CCI value is below -150. The sell signals are generated when either of the following conditions is met:
The opening price is above or equal to the EMA high. Either the fast %K or %D values have crossed above 70. The CCI value is above 150. The strategy has a minimal ROI target of 1% and a stop-loss of -0.5%. It is designed to be used with a ticker interval of 1 minute, with shorter intervals being preferred.
