The Scalp strategy is designed to generate multiple potential buy signals and aim for small profits on each trade. It is recommended to have a large number of parallel trades (at least 60) to cover unavoidable losses. The strategy focuses on selling based on the return on investment (ROI) and uses the following indicators:
Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs): Calculates EMAs based on the high, close, and low prices of the asset.
Stochastic Fast (StochF): Computes the fast %K and %D values of the Stochastic oscillator.
Average Directional Index (ADX): Measures the strength of the trend.
The strategy populates indicators and determines buy and sell signals based on the following conditions: For buy signals: The opening price is below the EMA low. The ADX value is greater than 30. Both the %K and %D values of StochF are below 30, and the %K line has crossed above the %D line. For sell signals: The opening price is equal to or higher than the EMA high. Either the %K or %D line of StochF has crossed above 70. It is important to note that the strategy sets a minimal ROI of 0.01 and a stop loss of -0.04, which should not exceed a 3% loss. The recommended timeframe for this strategy is 1 minute. By backtesting this strategy on historical data, you can evaluate its performance and effectiveness in generating small profits on a large number of trades.
