The NostalgiaForInfinityNext strategy is a trading strategy that performs backtesting on various trading strategies. It has different components for populating indicators and determining buy signals. In the populate_indicators method, the strategy retrieves price data and calculates indicators for different timeframes.
It merges informative pairs, resamples data to a different timeframe, and calculates indicators for the normal (5-minute) timeframe.
The populate_buy_trend method is responsible for determining buy signals.
It defines a set of conditions based on different parameters and indicators. These conditions include checks on moving averages (EMA), close price compared to EMAs, SMA200 rising, safe dips, safe pumps, BTC not in a downtrend, RSI, MFI, CTI, BB20, volume, and various other factors. The method applies these conditions and assigns a 'buy_tag' to the dataframe based on the outcome.
